Wynn Engineering
had its beginnings in Valley Center in the early 1970's. Val Wynn,
a licensed Civil and Quality Engineer, was a founding partner in a
company called Wynn-Hartley Engineering. Several years later he began
his own practice which eventually evolved into the current day, Wynn
Engineering, Inc. Using his several years of industry experience in
subdivision processing, land surveying, civil development projects,
and a strong commitment to quality Val Wynn successfully developed
his company.
Gary Wynn,
one of Val’s five children, continued to expand Wynn Engineering
after acquiring the Valley Center Company from Val in 1993. Gary,
also a licensed Civil Engineer, gained his experience in the industry
as a City Building Official, Public Works Engineer and Planning Director
for the City of Palos Verdes Estates. Gary later joined David C. Breiholz
and Company in 1989 where he served as a Project Manager overseeing
the design of residential, commercial, and land development projects.
Following the same quality standards of his father, Gary Wynn continued
to provide valuable services through Wynn Engineering, Inc. in the
San Diego area, while also expanding the growing business from Los
Angeles, including the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Gary added a structural
engineering component to the company and increased the scope of
civil engineering services.
Wynn Engineering incorporated
in 1997 with a goal to provide a full spectrum of civil and structural
engineering services as well as land surveying and land development.
Wynn Engineering, Inc. currently employs approximately 30 people
with many years of experience in the Civil and Structural Engineering
industries. Wynn Engineering, Inc. continues to this day as a well
respected engineering firm with a positive, team oriented working
environment.
